In Reception Class we explored the properties of magnets. We learned that some objects are magnetic and some are not. We used magnets to test a range of objects in our class and arrange them into two categories: magnetic and non magnetic. We also learned there are two sides to magnets ‘north’ and ‘south’ and used a range of magnets to experiment which sides stick and push away from each other and why.
