We have been learning about Aboriginal Art during our topic on Australia. The earliest type of Aboriginal art was symbols and patterns, often with dots and swirls. Dot paintings are most often visual stories, and sometimes the dots might symbolize stars or sparks. We experimented with different tools such as cotton buds, forks and sticks to create the dots. After five weeks we got to choose our favourite method to create our final painting.
